McDonald's is about to start selling Happy Meals for adults.

McDonald's Launching Happy Meals

The burger giant revealed the move in a press release and series of teasing social-media posts on Tuesday.

From Monday, October 3, you'll be able to get one of McDonald's famous meal boxes in a portion fit for grown-ups, with a Big Mac or 10-piece box of McNuggets, complete with fries and a drink.

• From October 3, McDonald's will be selling limited-edition Happy Meals for grown-ups.
• As well as a Big Mac or box of McNuggets, you get a collectible toy like a Hamburglar or Grimace figurine.
• The boxes are designed by Cactus Plant Flea Market, and merch will also be available
