Published on 8 November 2022 at 14:44

This Birthday Sugar Cookie Fudge recipe is one of my favorite recipes to whip up. The best part, you probably already have these ingredients in your kitchen cabinet

Birthday Sugar Cookie Fudge

Quick and easy to make in 5 minutes.

  • Only uses simple 4 ingredients.
  • All the flavor of sugar cookies in a no-bake, delicious fudge.
  • Rich and creamy treat with a festive flair.
  • Perfect for cookie exchanges, holiday trays, or gifting to friends, neighbors or teachers.

What Sprinkles Should I Add to This Fudge?

This Birthday Sugar Cookie Fudge Recipe calls for confetti sprinkles. Sprinkles which typically are primary colors such as blue, yellow, or red. But you can use whatever sprinkles you choose and for any occasion.

Directions

  • Line 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper and spray lightly with non-stick baking spray
  • Warm frosting in microwave until completely liquid
  • Mix frosting, chocolate chips, and cookie mix until well combined
  • Pour into dish
  • Top with sprinkles
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours
  • Your Birthday Sugar Cookie Fudge is now ready
  • Slice, serve, enjoy!

Are Store Bought Frosting Containers Microwaveable?

You will want to play it safe. Spoon the entire frosting container into a microwaveable safe a bowl before you microwave your frosting. I use my Pyrex glass measuring cup. It works perfectly.

How Long Do I Microwave the Frosting?

You want your frosting to be melted and a liquid. For me, it takes one minute in the microwave. You will want to keep an eye on the frosting to make sure it is melted completely. You might want to melt your frosting in 30 second intervals until you get the hang of it. Not all brands of frosting and/or microwaves are the same.

Do I Add Sprinkles Before or After the Fudge Sets in the Refrigerator?

You will want to top your fudge with sprinkles before it sets. You will want to act fast. The fudge will start to cool as soon as you pour it into your pan. You want the fudge to remain warm, so your sprinkles stick to the fudge. If you wait until after the fudge is refrigerated, they won’t stick.

How To Store Birthday Sugar Cookie Fudge

Store your Birthday Sugar Cookie Fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. Or for longer storage place in an airtight container or baggie and refrigerate for up to 3 weeks. Freezing your fudge is also an option and will keep for several months an airtight, freezer safe container.
